Yendoutié visited the PISCES site in summer 2020 where she learned how to use a broad fork to help prepare growing beds. Broad forks help break up the soil to increase water retention and lead to stronger, healthier plants.

PISCES is a community development and sustainable agriculture network based in the Savanes Region of Togo, West Africa.

 

We partner with local organizations to plan and implement projects such as reforestation, satellite training centers, community gardens, and environmental camps so that people can grow healthy food while also protecting and improving the local environment.
